Our Founder
Carmen’s journey with lean/agile began in 2010 as a United States Marine Corps Civilian, championing the adoption of lean/agile practices to transform acquisition processes. Working for the USMC Chief Engineer, she developed training programs and boot camps tailored to acquisition professionals, enabling faster, higher-quality delivery while meeting DoD technical review standards.
A founding member of the Software Engineering Institute Agile Collaboration Group (SEI ACG), Carmen has been instrumental in bringing lean/agile principles to federal organizations. In 2014, she founded Graver Agile Innovations, LLC (GAI) to implement these practices in highly regulated environments.
Her passion lies in empowering others, particularly through coaching and workshops, to embrace change and drive transformation. Today, Carmen leads efforts in USMC digital modernization, ensuring networks and systems deliver what warfighters need when they need it.
